Parent/Child Pre-School Music Class
Last year we had a great time in Music Class! We had 3 sessions - Fall, Winter, and Spring. Some students were in all three sessions and some joined us for 1 or 2. If there is enough interest in a class for this year, I will schedule a class based on requests of the group.
Fall Session will start in October. There will be 8 classes, starting October 7th through December 9. Classes are a minimum of 4 students to a maximum of 8. FREE appointments can be set up to meet with me and see our music room.
Winter Session will start in January and Spring Session will start the later part of March - please call or email with your requests.
What will we learn during Pre-School Music Classes?
At KMS we have many rhythm instruments, bells, xylophones, books and music. We will use many of them during our time together along with sing songs and playing singing games. The children will experience music through singing, playing, listening and moving. Parents will also learn during the classes about how your children are learning and how to continue encouraging your child’s development. While the focus will be on exploring music, through many fun activities, we will also be learning and reinforcing many basic knowledge concepts – colors, shapes, letter recognition, social skills, numbers, and counting.
What will your child need?
Your child will need an adult – parent, grandparent, or guardian – and that’s all!
How to register for a class?
The year will be divided into three sessions: Fall (Oct. – Dec.) and Winter (Jan. - Mar.) sessions will have 8-10 classes and Spring (Mar. – May) session will be 8 classes long. You can choose to take just one session, two, or all three sessions. Tuition is only $10 per class - $100 for all 10 weeks. Full tuition ($100) is due before the first class begins. Once you are registered for a group, there are no refunds once the session starts. If you are unable to attend a class, be sure to let the teacher know about your absence and, if needed, the teacher will be sure to call or email about the information and songs that were covered during the class.
